Pizza alla Bruschetta and Burrata

  • Ingredients

    1 Brooklyn Bred 7-inch Traditional Pizza Crust

    1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

    Bruschetta:

    1 cup red and yellow cherry tomatoes, quartered

    ¼ cup finely diced red onion

    1 tablespoon fresh chopped basil

    1 small garlic clove, minced

    ¼ teaspoon salt

    ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

    1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

    1 4-ounce round Burrata

    Olive Oil and Balsamic Glaze to drizzle

    Basil leaves for Garnish

  • Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Brush Brooklyn Bred crust with olive oil; place on baking sheet. Bake 5 to 8 minutes or until crust is crisp.

    2. Meanwhile, prepare Bruschetta: In medium bowl combine tomatoes, red onion, chopped basil, garlic, salt and pepper; stir in olive oil until well mixed.

    3. To serve, place crust on plate. Spoon bruschetta mixture over crust. Top with burrata. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze. Garnish with basil leaves.
