Sticks ala Margherita

  • Ingredients

    1 Brooklyn Bred Traditional, Original or Ancient Grains Pizza Crust
    3.5 oz fresh Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
    2 medium Red Tomatoes, sliced thin
    ¼ cup Basil Leaves
    Oregano (optional)
    EVOO (optional)

  • Directions

    1. Evenly distribute mozzarella cheese over surface of crust and top with tomatoes.
    2. For crispy crust, bake directly on oven rack or pizza stone at 400°F for 9-12 minutes, or until toppings are melted and crust is crisp. For chewy crust, bake on a sheet pan.
    3. Remove from oven and top with basil leaves. Sprinkle with oregano if desired.
    4. Let pizza rest for 2 minutes before cutting. Serve

    TIP: For best flavor drizzle with EVOO after baking.
