White Clam Pizza

BAKE TIME: 5-8 minutes
TOTAL TIME: 10-13 minutes

  • Ingredients

    1 Brooklyn Bred Neapolitan Thin Pizza Crust – Rectangle, Racetrack or Sprouted Grain
    ½ cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
    ½ cup Onions, caramelized
    2 oz Chopped Canned Clams
    8 Whole Clams with Shell, steamed
    ¼ cup Cilantro, chopped
    Salt, to taste
    Black Pepper, to taste
    Garlic Powder, to taste
    1 tbsp EVOO (optional)

  • Directions

    1. Evenly distribute mozzarella cheese on crust.
    2. Add caramelized onions followed by chopped clams.
    3. For crispy crust, bake directly on oven rack or pizza stone at 400°F for 5-8 minutes, or until toppings are melted and crust is crisp. For chewy crust, bake on a sheet pan.
    4. Remove pizza from oven and top with whole steamed clams in the shell and chopped cilantro.
    5. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper and garlic powder to taste.
    6. Let pizza rest for 2 minutes before cutting. Serve.

    TIP: For best flavor drizzle with EVOO after baking.
